I'd like to know your feedback about the new SC10GT
well I can't afford a new one ($380-$400) so I am converting my GT2 Factory Team to a SC10GT. the chassis is longer but for the low cost of about $100 bucks we can't go wrong. So wish me luck, the chassis was out of stock now the radio tray is so may in a couple months I will have a SC10GT. Please wait until I am completed to ask for part numbers, I will make a video or take some pics of progress and list them then.
Converting your GT2 to a SC10GT is a good idea but I prefer to keep my GT2 as it is...
Yeah me too, I really love the 1/10 gas truck class. I'm hoping for a class resurgence but it looks like if I'm going to get to run the truck I will have to convert it.
where you from Sylvain and what track do you race at ?
Me, I'm from Beaver, KY (up in the sticks) and I race at Dixon's RC Raceway. Dixon's is a great place to race but he has cut his schedule to once a month. Jeff Dixon has an awesome place to race, it's an indoor track. You should check it out www.dixonsrcraceway.com
Here is what I did with one of my GT2's, 18 months ago!!!!

18 months ago? Man you are a pioneer
Not really, I built this after reading RC Drivers first SC special mag where Greg Vogel built a GT2 SC. He used a custom carbon chassis and I didn't have the $100 to buy one so I built a chassis extender.
Need is the mother of invention!!!!
I know there is a company is CA that makes an extended chassis to convert the GT2 into a SC but I can't remember the name...
Greg got his from Xtreme Racing xtremeracing.com
that's carbon fiber chassis isn't it ?
