What have you done to your car or truck today?
Bought a FT screw kit for my Sc10. Now I will wait for that to get here then install my rpm a-arms.
Worked on the RC8.2 tonight...
Played with shock oil, toe, camber droop and ride height... Setting few things back to what I liked on my RC8B
Ordered a new Spek receiver, after I received confirmation that it was shipped, I found my extra Spek receiver!!!!!!! Some how I put it on the shelf with the 27 receivers!!!!
So I will have a backup for my backup!!!!!!!
This week, I gonna clean the buggy, take apart the engine for a full inspection. Have to work on the drivetrain too. If I have time, new body and wing..... Pro-Line of course
Put the new rear a-arms on and cleaned it.
just installed factory team aluminum hubs and kyosho light -blue springs on my RC8.2E front and back.
It is a good start Did you run your buggy with your new parts?
not yet but I am looking forward to it....The third hole is a great addition to tuning and the springs should be just enough(I hope) to give me the rebound I'm looking for
Is this what you ordered?
Yes that's exactly what I ordered but I got them at Nitrohouse because the fronts were on backorder
Kyosho parts are expen$ive !!! Hope the springs are worth the price asked for!
Ran it out in the drive way for a bit.
Ordered some Bar Codes mounted on Rulux rims.
I've installed factory rear hubs on my 8.2, still have to cut the camber links
Put my "new" T2 roller together, after lunch I was going to do a couple laps in front of the house and >>>> RAIN!!!!! :-(
Yesterday I went to an indoor carpet track with a friend of my.
WOW loads of grip, we had a great time
And Tuesday, a newbie form our local club is coming to my home and I'm going to show him how to rebuild his diffrential and shocks
And I'm going to look over his car so he won't have problem the next races
Sounds like you are a "RC Mentor".
Now to get him to join us here.
Well, when I started our 'boss' of the track learnt me also how to rebuild a diff and my shocks. He asked if I could show him how to do it because he is busy.
And yeah I enjoy building/maintaining cars
Sounds good, he also drives a SC10
I installed my good old RB K10 engine, new clutch shoes, new ceramic clutch bearings, new shock pistons, new tires and wheels, new wing and I'm getting ready to paint a new body.
