Putting my Club racer together to get ready to run VTA class at west coast and Camarillo, have the HPI dodge cuda, 25.5 novak and LRP speedo.. Have to figure out a paint scheme and then start working on the setup.

I am tring to talk our club into running VTA or USGT TC4 is a great platform for this class of racing. We run a gt class using sealed brushed Motor currently and I am waiting for some more guy's to Improve before I step in to run with them. The hobbyshop in fresno just started hosting races after about 10 years of no onorad racing here in town. We have many guy's who have never raced at all, and I haven't raced anything for many years myself. Do you guy's have any suggestion on how to get back into sport.
I'm new to the brushless scene I have a LRP x12 17.5 in my car we have open rules on timing what do you recomend? I race 17.5 TC have been gearing it 25x115 for the smallish track we race on
I have tried Max timing low timing an the car didn't seem to have enough grunt. I made a Battery up grade to 50c from some 20c bats. so I am interested to see what happens at this weeks race. I also went to 0 timing and I have the +27 timing insert in my motor.

Thanks for sharing Don! I've adjusted the graphic file

Is there a typo about the gearing? 88/46?

Running 64 pitch had to mod the motor came to allow it to roll over more, but the track here was small and that is what I had to run. WE don't hold to a 4:00 final..now we have changed from 25.5 motors to 21.5..much better speed and easier to geared for the track.

I must be lucky because I've received two big RC10 stickers in my mail box today.
