Received a Picco .12 SC 3 port today. Paid about $55.00 shipped.

This will go into my RC10GT2-SC

As I opened the box this is what came to mind

1. SWEEEEEET!!!!!!!!! It has a RED head, just like the Dynamite 12SPD's that I've raced before.
2. I have to put this together!!!!!
3. Carb lock pin info sheet is small and out of focus!!!
4. Parts list picture is LARGER and very CLEAR.
5. NO GLOW PLUG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
6. NO AIR FILTER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
7. Engine Disassembly by CUSTOMER >> VOIDS WARRANTY
8. If your using 10% nitro removed one head gasket (read #7)
9. If your using 30% or MORE nitro add one head gasket (read #7)
10. If your using 20-25% nitro leave head gaskets as it came (read #7)
A. Guess they want you to use 20-25% nitro or else!!!!!
11. Neat Stickers!!!!!

Will start taking pictures when I get home from work during daylight hours!!!

The air filter that I have for a Dynamite 12Spd, OS Max 12 and AE 15 are to small to fit the carb!!!

Needing to buy a air filter and at least ONE glow plug sure makes this NOT so "low cost" engine upgrade for my RC10GT2-SC.

Glow Plug >> OFNA B4 >> $6.95

Haven't (needed) paid for a Glow Plug in two years, forgot how pricey they are.

Picked up some fuel tubing, have the line from the tank to carb done.

LHS didn't have any OFNA glow plugs or air filter(s), BUT ebay did!!! :)

As I'm waiting for the ebay parts, got the throttle linkage changed over from rotor carb to a slide. Had to go to AE and download a "Slide Carb" how-to for a RC10GT.

The header pipe came in ( THANKS Mikey). Have that installed with "muffler" and pressure hose.

NEED the ebay parts to get here so I can start doing the engine break in!!!

May change what track I race at this weekend IF I can get the Picco broken in!! :D

Parts came in >>>> ON A SATURDAY!!!!!! :mad:

======

Did a first tank break in, today (Sunday).

Third bump on the box, the Picco was a LIVE!!!! :cool:

20 minutes later the tanks was empty, I have the ROAR plug out of tank, street was a bit damp so I knew I could do the break in without loading the motor.

======

Have had three new Dynamite 12SPD's and a new OS 12, this Picco just feels so much smoooother, even at just one tank!!!!!
