Hey all,

Just got back into RC after a 20 year break. One of the best things about having kids is that I get to relive my childhood; but now I can afford all of the things I wanted as a teenager, lol.

Ran a lot of associated cars in the past but none compare to my SC10.

I can't believe how far things have progressed.

"You're right, things have changed in 20 years.... Check LiPo batteries and brushless motors :)"

I'm there, I've actually been bashing slashes with my son. we are both bushless with LiPo.
We found a local track and I bought a SC10 to be a little more competitive. AE and I have history.
I used to race a gold pan staduim truck on carpet.

"FL <<< where????"

I live near Ocala, about 2 hours north of you

Newred is one of the BEST tracks I've ever raced on, just wish they would raise their LiveRC camera! :) It's placement doesn't do the track justice.

I'm at Newred about every 2-3 months, will let you know when I'm going to be there next time.

Yeah, NewRed is a great track. I went to race there yesterday, but 2 laps in
it was evedent that my truck wasnt properly setup properly. So, instead of paying
registration fees I spent the money on upgrades.

maybe I'll start a thread . ..

how do i watch LiveRC ?

You tried the stock tires didn't you!:(

Mayfield setup for the roar nationals 2011 is the best start place for what I know about Newred.

lol, no stock tires.
started off with barcodes rear and carvers front.

after a few laps i switched to suburbs all around, seemed to steer and
grip better.

thats where my setup started, and I just changed it from there.

Im starting my own thread tomorrow in the SC10 section.
I'll begin with a backstory . . .
