Which tire would you use on an indoor offroad like carpet track?

I would think you would want to use the Bar Code (or Pressure Points if running SC) because its the most rubber to contact the track with the small tread design. Check with the local track to see if they have specific tire. Some carpet tracks only allow certain tires.

I have a set of Bar Codes mounted on Rulux rims. Was going to try them out when the carpet season starts.

Well watch what tires the other guys at the track use.

If you want a lot of grip
    Trh schumacher mini pins.
They also make them for shortcourse. I use rhe yellow compound.
Only problem you might have it bodyroll...
    Try some stiffer springs then?

Short Course 3D's should be shipping out this week, mine are on the way, can't wait to try they, I saw them in testing at Motorama, looked pretty good there.

    Hi there,
I'd like to buy JConcepts Rulux wheels (Truggy 1:8) but can't find nice threaded tires to put on them. I first wanted to put JConcepts Cross Hair but they are sold out. Ilike tires with nice and good studs (bow tie, crime fighter, city block, EVO I-Beam) medium compound & Inserts. All I can find is 'elevated' bead so I don't think they will fit those nice wheels... Or maybe they are already working to produce these Rulux wheels but with 'elevated' bead?

    Any suggestion?

I think they have to be 3.7 (low profile) or Half Ups... that part is kinda confusing over manufacturers.

    Thanks!
