    Rebuilt the Trans today.

    Was a lot of fun and its gotten to be pretty easy now.

    -Update-
    I took the truck out and made sure I adjusted the slipper clutch till I felt it was right. Truck feels really good.

    I wanted to make a check though before I go drive again. How much grease should I put into the diff? I've read a few some say enough to cover the gears and a few others have said fill the thing near full.

    A little help?

    Don't full pack the diff with grease. Put a little grease and turn the diff by hand until all gears have grease on.

    So went out with my buddy, he has a slash that we just put the mamba max pro 5700 combo into last night. *I should say I did since I actually did all the work*

    But took it out and had some fun with it after I tuned it up. Had a misshap with my SC10 though. the back left tire came unglued at a pretty high speed, lost control and clipped a corner and well.... Yea. completely fun.

    As I was crossing the timing loop to start lap three in the 1st qual last Sat, the idler gear choose to go toothless!! :cry:

    Had to get out my backup SC >>> losi :mad-32:

    Rebuilt the trans, from the diff balls out to the mount bolts!!!!

    ====

    side note >>> during 2nd qual and just after the main, removed front and rear a-arms from the losi. So I had to repair that also!!!!

    Was rear ended going into a right turn in the 2nd qual and the left rear touched the wall hard and broke the left rear a-arm. Than as I was making my cool down lap, after the main, didn't get slowed down enough to exit the track and hit the wall at the track opening to get on and off the track, this removed the front right a-arm. Haven't changed the arms on the losi in over a year so I changed all of them.
