Are the batteries in the radio fully charged?

If it flashing sounds like it need bound to radio. Find the instrudctions to the radio and follow them to re-bind to the reciever.

Sound like its telling you something. LOL

Old school rules. First unplug servo from receiver. Sometimes the servo broken or fried sends intermittent signal. The electronics work on loops and every thing needs to go threw and return to receiver. We are trying to isolate to problem.

Now with radio on, have wheels in the air turn on car. Let car sit for a second if speedo not acting wacky, some trigger. If everything ok replace servo.
    Try this

    - what is the brand/model of the radio and receiver?
    - you say the batteries are charged in the radio, what about the receiver pack?
    - do you run multiple cars with the same radio? If so check that the model is set to the particular car you are troubleshooting and if it works with your other cars?

    - Is it a flysky radio/rx?

Next thing is to get a battery just for the receiver.

Still have not plugged in servo now unplug speedo.

Plug battery into receiver so radio on and receiver with battery. This is to check just the radio. You should be able to bind and a green light. Reset all values on radio to 0 you may have bumped something on the radio.
If you can't get a green light problem in radio and receiver.

Once you get the receiver and radio working plug servo into the 1 st slot . Servo should work. If you are to this point radio and servo working then problem in speedo.

Did you follow the steps in order on page 8 of this: http://www.teamassociated.com/pdf/cars_and_trucks/shared/29215.29216_XP2G-XP3G_manual.pdf

Before you start step 1, ensure all your batteries are charged up, everything is switched OFF, then follow step by step as per instructions. The first thing you start with is the transmitter.

Also, did you cut/trim/shorten the receiver wire?

Why not buy a good quality radio? A radio with more features and you can use with many others cars?
