They must have removed it cuz I don't see what you're talking about but if there's really a B4.2 coming out soon I'm gonna be pissed cuz I JUST bought a B4.1 and it's not even assembled yet. Just like my $#!!@ smartphone...out of date before I even get it home.

    Ah,

Well, living in Florida (Orlando) means year-round racing plus there are two indoor tracks within a short drive from my house. Life is good. :D

Despite my grumbling, one of my favorite parts about this hobby is upgrading and tinkering with my cars. A B4.2 would give me a goal of upgrading over time until I have my B4.1 up to B4.2 standards. That's how I'm doing my RC8B, I upgrade over time...right now it's an RC8.15, all I have left is to replace the A-Arms and it'll be an RC8.2. Yes, it costs more that way, but I can spread the cost over a long period of time so it really doesn't impact the wallet the way buying a new car would. If I did buy a new car, I wouldn't want to cannibalize the old car for its motor, ESC, etc... so I end up buying those new as well and end up with two cars of the same class at twice the price even though I can only race one of 'em on a given Sunday. So, in my case, upgrading is actually cheaper.

The other advantage of upgrading over time is that I get to see what effect each upgrade has on my car's handing/speed/performance.

So what do you think a B4.2 would have above and beyond the B4.1? My first thoughts:

    1) 12mm Big Bore Shocks
    2) Front and Rear Hex wheel nuts
    3) Inboard bearings on the front
    4) Aluminum Motor Guard
    5) Possibly a bit more bling in the form of a blue aluminum front Bulkhead plate and Rear Brace

Any thoughts on what a B4.2 would have? Or what you would LIKE it to have?

Full carbon parts...A-Arms, towers, top plate. The nylon stuff the Worlds kit comes with doesn't hold up well in a bad crash.

carbon parts are nice but they hold up worse in the bad crashes. There stiffer but brittle.

I prefer the stock parts material, carbon parts are too brittle for our rough tracks and my driving skills ;)

I like the carbon on high bite tracks but on rough tracks i like the stock. lets it flex little better.

I have 5-6 spare front a-arms sets laying in my parts box for the last 3-4 years... I guess I don't drive it hard enough.... LOL
